Business Summary

With the introduction of The SIDEWINDER ATX-3000 in 2005, Airtrax (OTCBB: AITX) became the first company to commercialize Omni-Directional technology for the $15 billion global material handling industry. This was made possible after a CRADA agreement with the US Navy and 7 years of research and development. Airtrax intends to add to its serially produced product offering with the COBRA™ family of Aerial Work Platforms beginning with the KING COBRA™ ATX-3368 in 2007.

Airtrax has designed several vehicles utilizing its MP2™ (Multi Purpose Mobility Platform) modular vehicle concept with patented Omni-Directional Drive Technology. Airtrax Omni-Directional Drive Systems enable these vehicles to travel in any direction, and rotate 360-degrees within their own footprint. These vehicles demonstrate a wide range of commercial and military uses including equipment handlers, aerial work platforms, munitions handlers, jet engine installation equipment, and a robotic vehicle intended to have multiple uses including chemical/biological or IED detection sensor systems.

In the late summer of 2006, Airtrax signed an agreement with the Israeli Air Force (IAF) to design and build equipment handlers to meet the IAF’s special requirements, based on the Airtrax commercial MP2 Mobility Platform. The initial contract covers the first vehicle with an option for five additional units. The Company has since reported receiving design approval, completing construction of a prototype and shipping it to Israel for final evaluation. Subject to final approval from the IAF, Airtrax may accelerate the manufacture and delivery of the additional units. The interest generated in Israel by the delivery of the first vehicle may indicate the potential for sales of additional models over the next few years.

In the fall of 2006, the Company made two key hires, Robert Watson as Chief Executive Officer and G. Theodore Harrison as controller. Mr. Watson was also appointed as a company representative to the Board of Directors. Since these new officers have assumed their roles with Airtrax, the Company has closed a $3.2 million debenture, completely updated previous filings and submitted the current stock registration with the SEC and executed a strategic agreement for the sale and distribution of its Omni-Directional products. Airtrax has also hired additional technical staff to accelerate development and new product production start up. The Company has also entered into a manufacturer’s representative agreements with Universal Equipment, Inc. to help build the Company’s dealer network in the United States, and with Breen Consulting Group of Washington, DC, to represent Airtrax products to the US military. Airtrax has solicited the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) seeking the award of a contract to enable U.S. governmental agencies to purchase the SIDEWINDER™ ATX-3000 on a fixed price, no bid basis.

In the theme of Airtrax’s ongoing establishment of material partnerships for distribution and sales, the Company has executed a strategic 10 year agreement with Metalman Engineering Ltd. of Waterford, Ireland. The agreement grants Metalman Engineering the exclusive rights for the sale and distribution of Airtrax's SIDEWINDER and KING COBRA products throughout the Republic of Ireland. This agreement will serve as the model for all future distributor agreements as Airtrax expands its Distribution Network around the globe.

Airtrax has also begun to step-up its advertising and marketing initiatives. The Company recently announced that it has entered into agreements with Beyond Productions Pty Ltd., an Australian company that is co-producing a new TV series with the Discovery Channel titled ‘Prototype This’.  Airtrax’s MP2 Technology will be featured in an episode of the show and a SIDEWINDER has been made available to the production team for use on camera in the construction of the various prototypes featured in the series. Additionally, Airtrax has contracted an advertising firm to produce a series of print ads for the SIDEWINDER. These ads have run in trade magazines such as Plant Engineering and Materials Handling Solutions in May, June and July 2007. Plans are underway to expand this campaign beyond print media to the Internet and television. The Company has also contracted with outside consultants to perform extensive market research. The goal of this research is to identify the market opportunities that will result in the highest possible return from Airtrax’s development dollars as the Company strives to create new Omni-Directional products. The Company has hired two engineers to join the Airtrax team, focusing on these new applications for its Omni-Directional Technology. Each of these strategic initiatives signifies how management is moving towards its goal of achieving a balance between the Company’s investment in revenue generating production and the continuous development of new technology and products.

Market Summary

Airtrax is an emerging player in the $15 billion global material handling industry. It’s SIDEWINDER branded products will compete with narrow aisle or side-loader machines from such competitors such as Combilift and Aisle Master, as well as conventional truck manufacturers such as Toyota and NACCO Materials Handling Group. The marketplace continues to seek out lower cost alternatives to drive down inventory and maintenance costs. Airtrax has shown it can outperform the bigger players, as evidenced in requisite tests using AMSE/ANSI 56.1 standards (American Society of Mechanical Engineers/ American National Standards Institute), where the SIDEWINDER ATX-3000 exceeded stability requirements and demonstrated that the SIDEWINDER ATX-3000 was able to lift more weight higher than competitive vehicles in its class. In a recent private equity transaction between global forklift company Linde, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s private-equity unit, the Kion forklift division of Linde Group was sold for 4 billion euros ($5.1 billion USD) in Germany's biggest takeover by a leveraged buyout firm, punctuating renewed interest in the sector.
