Mitsubishi Motors North America Moves From California To Tennessee

There are many reasons why a business decides to move elsewhere. Sometimes, a better deal is offered in another location or the current lease has expired. Regardless of the reason, a business needs junk removal Orange County to remove damaged furniture and equipment and other heavy stuff that will no longer be useful in the new office.

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is one of the fastest growing Asian brands in the United States. This week, the Asian company announced that it is relocating its headquarters to Franklin, Tennessee from Cypress, California. The announcement immediately brought condemnation over the states policies from Cypress Chamber.

In a statement, Cypress Chamber of Commerce is sad to see the departure of MMNA but wishes them well in their move to Tennessee. The chamber further said that the state of California has been remiss on its responsibilities to support healthy business. The state is actively chasing away businesses with its policies and practices.

On the other hand, Mitsubishi said that the reason for their move is to reinvent every aspect of the company in the US from the corporate leadership to dealer partners at every point in customer’s relationship with the vehicle. Mitsubishi’s move is for future growth and innovation. The move will start in August and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.

MMNA’s move highlights efforts in the entire global landscape of the Renault/Nissan/Mitsubishi Alliance so that the companies can be brought closer together in some areas that include procurement, development and cost efficiencies.

Franklin, Tennessee was chosen as their new home because it will allow MMNA to focus on country-wide reinvention. The company also wants to take advantage of the area’s vibrant technology skill-set. Because MMNA will be in close proximity to Nissan, a business friendly work environment can be created while keeping business costs down.

It is always important for a business to plan in advance of a move. Furniture and equipment that will be transported to the new office must be segregated from those that need to be hauled by junk removal Orange County to a recycling center or the local landfill.
